Protecting Urundel REDD+ from Wildfires
Neighboring human activities—deforestation through burning, crop residue fires, or tire burning to prevent frost—spark fire hotspots that threaten to spread to our forest. Our team’s constant monitoring and early detection are crucial, with patrols tirelessly scouting nearby areas to stop uncontrolled fires before they reach the Selva de Urundel REDD+ project.

Protegiendo los bosques de Urundel de los Incendios Forestales
Las actividades humanas vecinas —deforestación mediante quema, incendios de residuos de cultivos o quema de neumáticos para prevenir heladas— generan puntos calientes de fuego que amenazan con propagarse a nuestro bosque. La vigilancia constante y la detección temprana de nuestro equipo son cruciales, con patrullas que recorren incansablemente las áreas cercanas para detener los incendios no controlados antes de que alcancen el proyecto Selva de Urundel REDD+.
